Landscape Designer
Studio M is actively pursuing entry level or experienced full time Landscape Designer to join our team. At Studio M you will have the opportunity to learn and grow through a multi-disciplinary approach to planning and design for a variety of projects and project types. You will work closely with senior staff to take projects from conceptual design through construction. Initiative, technical abilities, and collaborative attitude inherent in the Landscape Designer are integral to delivering a successful solution to our clients.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited college or university
Have an appropriate level of familiarity with site analysis, schematic design, materiality, and construction documents.
Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Sketchup, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and hand drawing skills.
Familiarity with plant material typical to the Midwest.
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public.
Responsibilities:
Produce presentation and technical drawings in support of the complete design vision.
Manage specific aspects of a design project, including coordination with design consultants and internal team members as well as play a central role in the interpretation of design vision into a built reality.
Proactively initiate solutions which resolve challenges and create the best outcome for the client.
Some local travel may be required.
